Almost Ready for Easter

The table is set, the groceries are bought, the cake is baked (but not decorated), and there's plenty of Easter treats.

We are spending Easter with our neighbors, Diana and Walt. Walt makes the BEST BBQ leg of lamb EVER! We are also having strawberry salad, grilled asparagus, corn-leek pudding, and mashed potatoes with white cheddar and sage.

Having 5 days in a row off for Spring Break gave me plenty of time to play in the kitchen. I made some white chocolate eggs (different colored candy melts), and some fondant daffodils to decorate the cake. You can see the final results soon.
