Let the Games Begin!
We welcomed our guests to Bologna with some prosecco at Hotel Porta San Mamolo. It was such fun to get to know Diane and Frank from New Jersey, and Anne and Enrique from Texas! This is going to be a wonderful week!
We walked to Piazza Maggiore, and had a drink while taking in the local landmarks, then visited San Domenico. Next we stopped at Zanarini for another refreshment and some antipasti. We looked at the gorgeous portici along Piazza Cavour.
We enjoyed a welcome dinner at Al Sangiovese, and as always, Rocco and Antonella did not disappoint us. YUM!
