After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard/garden of our lovely B&B, Corte 1321.
We wandered all over our "hood" in San Polo, stopping for some happy tears at the Frari, then on to Campo Santa Margherita for lunch. (porchetta and gorgonzola tramezzini)
A little shopping, a few groceries and wine, and a visit to Santa Maria dei Miracoli and more happy tears. I walked Brad HARD through new (to him) neighborhoods ala Shannon's Venice!
Occasional stops for coffee or wine got him through until happy hour and dinner at Shannon, Maggie and Diana's apartment where we spent a fabulous evening with a wonderful dinner! (Cheese, stuffed zucchini blossoms, wine risotto and sausages with grapes). A PERFECT day in Venice.
Nancy, Jill, Kevin, and Megan, I miss you too!

What a lovely completely wonderful day. Love walking all the streets and then to have dinner with friends...perfetto!
