After breakfast, we headed to the train station on our last vaparetto ride. This was our first train trip with big luggage since 2001! It went well, and we had a nice young boy's help at the Bologna station who got our two big bags down, then up the stairs in no time. Best tip money spent on the trip!
We were greeted like old friends by the staff at San Mamolo, with a lovely bottle of bubbly in our room. We grabbed a quick lunch at a favorite spot, and took a nap.
By four, we were up and running to get a few errands done before our guests arrive tomorrow. The weather was PERFECT, and when we were done, it was time for wine!
Our evening included dinner at Serghei, coffee in a tiny piazza, and gelato on our way home. We are VERY HAPPY to be HOME in Bologna!

We were the 'lurkers' you met in the Latte Di Luna in 2007 in Pienza. We still follow you and love your posts. I see Brad and you ate at Serghei in Bologna - one of our favourites too! Hope you are both well and loving your current trip
