Arriving in Bologna

Arriving in Bologna is now like "coming home". Our first evening, we ran a few errands to prepare for our group's arrival, then had a relaxing evening. We checked out a wine shop/wine tasting enoteca we learned about from Shannon. There were wines from every region of Italy!

Brad was pretty fascinated with the wall of grappa!

The place got really busy around 6:30!

After a glass, we moved on to another this spot we like in the neighborhood.

It is tough to get a glass of wine in Bologna without a nice little snack to go with it!

Those pics make me homesick for Bologna!

One visit we bought so much grappa in Bologna we bagged our train tickets to Venice and had to hire a driver instead. We would have rented a car, but we had done too much tasting ;)

Barb Cabot:

This is tough work Palma but I guess someone has to do it! Lucky you! Wine store looks fabulous.

We ate at Pane e Vino San Daniele here in Venice last night. It may be a "chain" but it's SO much better than chain restaurants in the US.
