This was my third visit to the Basilica of San Luca, high on a hill overlooking Bologna. It's grandeur always amazes me. What an amazing piece of architecture. Our tummies were full from our lunch at La Buca, so a little walking up steps with gorgeous views and a beautiful interior as our prize was just right for a Sunday afternoon. The first photo was Anne and Enrique's shot that included the street sign!

That night, we didn't feel like a big meal, so we had our own lovely "Memorial Weekend" picnic on the patio of Hotel Porta San Mamolo: cheeses, salumi, bread, seafood salad, fresh cherries and cookies with our vino. All Happy Campers!
