Drinks in Piazza Santo Stefano

On our last night in Bologna, after visiting the churches we gathered for drinks in a favorite meeting place: the lovely Piazza Santo Stefano. The young and old, with their dogs and kids in tow, seem to love this piazza, as do we. Aperol spritz were a popular choice with our group:

Our group members had much of the day free to explore museums, wander the city or shop, so everyone compared notes on their adventures in Bologna. We went easy on the antipasti, as we had a fabulous "Good-bye Dinner" planned. There were smiles
on everyone's faces, looking back on our wonderful week together. We won the "tour leader's lottery" with this group! In order of photos: Frank, Diane, Anne and Enrique:

Wonderful trip!!!! And I am sure your group thinks the same........."THEY won the Tour Leaders" lottery too.

I'll think of you when I raise a glass of vino while sitting on the piazza in a few weeks.
