Palmabella's Passions

Monday morning, we enjoyed breakfast with Jan and Ken. It is fun to overlap with other Slow Travelers. We began with some strawberries from Giulia's garden, delicious breads and cake, jams, cheese, tomatoes and juices. Rain in the forecast, but we took off for a day of exploring.

We wandered toward the town of Pergola, stopping for photos or to find a tiny church up an unpaved driveway. The scenery is gorgeous and GREEN!

We had lunch in Pergola and enjoyed walking around town.

Later, we drove to Sassoferrato, stopped for some coffee and talked with a local gentleman. What a lovely afternoon.

We had more fabulous views on the way home.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner prepared by Giulia and her mom, and between courses ran outside for this amazing sunset.
