Diane was totally captivated by the town of Urbino, and as delighted by the Palazzo Ducale as anyone could be. Raffaello is a favorite of hers, so what could be better than seeing his art in his birthplace? They toured the beautiful cathedral, the duke's palace, and after a great lunch of local cresce sfogliate (flaky piadini) filled with grilled veggies, meats and cheese, we saw the special exhibit of "La Citta Ideale".
