Here was our guest room last week: POPPIES everywhere!

This wall had a huge wedding photo, and memorabilia from our engagement.

Last weekend, with the help of a sale at Pottery Barn; a stop at Bed, Bath and Beyond; 3 days of stripping, sanding and painting a desk and chair; and my painted letters; we have a teen boy room for beach-loving Federico!

I framed a photo of Pescara beach, and photos of his family with a shelf of "beachy" things for this wall. (The wedding stuff moved to the master bedroom.)

There is also a large bulletin board with calendar, school schedule and room for new memories! Hope he likes it.

I am sure he will love it! The Italian and US flag pillows are such a great idea.
How thoughtful of you to hang photographs of his family, he is a lucky guy!
