After leaving Le Marche, we headed to Padova for our last two nights. We had a glass of wine and tramezzini for lunch, then did a little exploring, as it was our first time in this wonderful city.

We saw wonderful architecture everywhere we walked.

We took a coffee break, then wandered some more.

We returned to our hotel to freshen up and change for our visit to the Scrovegni Chapel. Our tickets were for 7:00 p.m., so we had a "double turn" and were able to view the amazing Giotto frescos for 30 minutes. All I can say is AWESOME! If you haven't been there, find a way to put this on your next visit to the Veneto!
Time for a wine bar with some snacks before dinner next door at Ristorante Pizzaria PePen.

Dinner was delicious, but rich. We shared 4 tortelloni in gorgonzola sauce, roasted coniglio with veggies, and a filetto with parmigiano! STUFFED!

After a walk and a coffee and grappa for Brad in the piazza, we were ready for bed.
