My friend, Maria, shared this simple and delicious peach cobbler recipe. Try it!
Peach Cobbler:
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
2 t. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
4-5 peaches (4 c. sliced)
1/2 c. sugar
(I added some nutmeg and a teaspoon of vanilla)
(Maria added a splash of brandy)
1 cube of butter
Heat oven to 350. Slice peaches, and stir with 1/2 c. of sugar. Stir together all ingredients except butter. Put butter in a 7x11 pan in the oven until melted. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. Top with peaches. Bake for 55 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temp with vanilla ice cream.
