Federico, Joy and I walked up the trail to the base of Bridal Veil Falls. There were some nearby rocks that Federico wanted to climb to get a better photo. I said sure, as there were other people there, and he was within "yelling distance".

Next thing we knew, the little mountain goat was half way up the mountain. Can you see a tiny white dot half way up and to the right of the falls? We were pretty nervous for about 15 minutes.

After our picnic lunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel, we saw Yosemite Falls in it's autumn glory.

Federico really enjoyed his day in Yosemite, and NO, I did NOT let him climb Half Dome!
