Whatever your feelings about the election results, today we must join together as Americans!
We are very proud and relieved at our house.
It was interesting to watch the election process through Federico's eyes, and hear his opinions on the issues. We were not always in agreement, but I think he learned that there are two sides to everything. The social issues gave us some lively debates, and his views of how Europe sees America were interesting. He is learning that America is not perfect, but has many strengths we are proud of, and some problems that we are not so proud of!
It was very fun to watch the election coverage with a large group of like-minded friends on Facebook! Thanks to all who participated.
We are very hopeful for the next four years of leadership.

We were in Rome four years ago, actually we were invited to and went to the US embassy for election night. Very interesting.
It sounds like you had a similar experience, but domestically. Sounds good, so many opinions, it is good to hear them.
