It has been quite a trip! We began with an amazing time in Pescara with Federico's family. We will definitely return to beautiful Abruzzo!
Christmas in Roma was everything I thought it would be: a once in a lifetime experience.
Highlights:
Christmas dinner with Jerry and Paul in our apartment.
Meeting Sandra and spending Christmas Eve and Day together
The Market Tour and Lunch
Wine Tasting by Vino Roma with Jerry, Paul and Gail!
Shopping, shopping, shopping!
The lights, the trees, the decorations!
The presepe at the Vatican!
We came in with Cacio e Pepe and had to have some on our last day. We also had our share of Carbonara!

The car will pick us up at 4:00 am, then flights to Zurich, Philadelphia, and finally LAX!
I'll blog again when I can, but the next few days will be a marathon! Happy New Year to all!
