Thursday in NYC

We all got some sleep on the red-eye flight from S.F., and arrive in NCY ready to go at 7:00 a.m.. We checked in to our hotel, the W Times Square, and after some coffee, off we went.

Our first stop was our 10:00 tickets to Ground Zero. It was a sad and emotional experience to be there.

We grabbed hotdogs from a cart and headed to our "See It All" tour. I think we DID see it ALL during the next 5.5 hours! It was quite a tour that began at Times Square and included:
Theater District
Diamond District
Little Italy
China Town
Trinity Church
World Trade Center Site
New York Stock Exchange
Wall Street
World Financial Center
Federal Hall
Madison Square Park
Flatiron Building
South Street Seaport
US Customs Building
5th Avenue
Rockefeller Center
NBC’s Today Show Set
St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Central Park
Strawberry Fields
Dakota Building
Statue of Liberty (from boat)

Here is Federico at Rockefeller Center:

Strawberry Fields (a tribute to John Lennon)

The Dakota (where John was shot and Yoko still lives in apt. with black balcony)

South Street Seaport for lunch and harbor cruise:

Ellis Island:

Statue of Liberty

Later, dinner with my cousin, Gary, in Greenwich Village:

I LOVE showing Federico New York City, and seeing it through his eyes!

You never know who you'll see at Times Square!
