Where to start... My husband (we'll call him Rocket) and I were supposed to celebrate our ten year anniversary on a biking tour of Provence, but ten years came and went, then eleven, then twelve, you get the picture. Sandy's husband (we'll call him Mighty Hunter (MH)) was pulling the same stunt regarding a trip to Italy with friends. Both seem to think traveling abroad is something you do when you retire and they always say "We'll go someday".
So, I decided my someday was now and Shan (a single friend) and Sandy jumped on board and it was a done deal from that day (April-ish 2007) on!
