On Thursday May 21st, the undefeated Masterman Blue Dragons clinched the City Title for Boys Volleyball. I know that this made Jordan's Senior year. It was certainly a great way for him ( and us) to end his. high school athletic career.
Masterman 3 (25-23,25-14,25-19), Central 0. For many reasons, Masterman and Central have been arch rivals for a long time. Both are great schools, and both have excellent student athletes.

One more step in this competition - maybe! On Tuesday 5/26 Masterman will play Garden Grove , a school from Lancaster, Pa. The winner will go on to play in the State Championships at Penn State University on Friday 5/29/09. This will be a tough competition. And, the Senior Prom is on Thursday evening 5/28/09. If they win, the Senior Boys will have to leave the prom early for the 3 hour drive to State College,Pa. (Not great planning of dates on the school's part!). DH will be a chaperon for States, so he will be doing the driving at 11:00 p.m., not Jordan.

Woo hoo, that is so exciting! Just amazing that they went undefeated....that's so hard to do in sports at any level. Congrats to them and keep us posted about what happens next week.

Thanks, Jane and Annie. I will keep you posted. They would love the opportunity to play at States, but the competition at that level would be really intense - even for my special Blue Dragons. Yes, Jane they are very special moments!
