Following Dianna,Creative Structures, Kim and Amy here is a list of the things for which I am grateful this day!
1.My family & friends who are both my foundation & inspiration , and the reasonably good health of all!
2. That my husband and I are gainfully employed during these difficult times, at jobs that we love (well, most of the time anyway).
Today, I am especially grateful that:
-I think that we have found a dog sitter, so that when the kids are at school we will not be homebound!
-Tonight we will attend the wedding of the daughter of an old friend. It will be nice to catch up with old friends and wish Katie and Mike a lifetime of happiness.
-I did not have to stress over what to wear to the wedding tonight.
-Despite the humidity today my hair is only mildly, not totally, frizzed for tonight.
-DH has lost 35 lbs. and is sticking to his diet!
-I found this idea for a reasonably quick and meaningful blog entry.

Lovely post, Sheri.... I am thankful that I have, in my life, gotten the full South Philly Italian Market experience :) My niece, however, has never had a bite of lamb since, after seeing the baby lambs hanging, fully skinned, but with the heads intact. She is grateful to be a vegetarian :) :) :)

Diana, I am glad that you enjoyed 9th Street (So. Philly speak for the Italian Market).I understand your niece's reaction. Some of the Butcher Shops are hard to look at! Hope that one day I will visit you in Piemonte!
