Sunday Slow Sppers Week #5: Goat (Lamb) Shank Tangine

Deborah selected this recipe which she found on a Blog called Figment . You can find the recipe there.This was a really hardy,delicious dinner. Most people served a whole Shank on each plate. I found that the meat was falling off of the bone, so I chose to serve it more like a stew. A friend had brought over some oven roasted potatoes with onions. It was a great combination of flavors,but I would also like to try serving this with couscous as many others have done.IMG_1269.JPG

I think I need to make this again. I still have 9 shanks in the freezer.
