Back from a long weekend in San Diego for the second Great Slow Travel Gathering. It was a perfect weekend, thanks to the wonderful organizing of Shannon, Marcia & David, Jane & Ken,Palma & Brad. I can't quite put into words how wonderful it was to finally meet people in person who I have come to think of as friends over these past 4 years. A special thanks to my roomies - Teaberry, ColleenK and JGK-for welcoming this newbie to ST GTH's! Really looking forward to future Get Togethers!
I am way too tired to write more coherently about the Get Together, but I did not want to break my momentum in this March Madness. Between daylight saving time and readjusting to EST, I am really beginning to fade and it is only 3:45 p.m. Scheduling this to post tomorrow. Need to save some energy for Foodshopping after work and dinner with Adam. Early to bed for me!

Sheri get some rest. What a great weekend it was. We feel the same about meeting you. It was like seeing an old friend again. Such great memories we've all made in San Diego. Looking forward to the next time we see each other.

I know just how you feel. It is difficult trying to explain that feeling of meeting people you feel like you have known for quite a while now. I finally got the energy to start writing about San Diego today. Need to do it before I forget since I did not write any notes while I was there. Hope you had a nice St. Patrick's Day!
