Native Californian, and a Bay Area resident my whole life. Retired communications analyst and arts manager, I'm loving retirement and the freedom it has brought. Travel is in my blood, and I love researching and planning the perfect vacation for myself or for groups of friends.
When traveling I most enjoy meeting new people and learning about local traditions. I am awed by the beauty of nature, and thrilled by creativity in all of its expressions - fine arts, handcrafts, music, theater, local food specialties, and, of course, gelato. With age has come the realization that just being there is as rewarding as seeing it all, and that has been wonderfully freeing!
