waiting for the livrasion

I don't mind waiting as long as I know how long I will wait but when someone says I'll be right there and then after two hours is not right there it is sooooooooooo frustrating; worse is trying to speak French angrily. Can you imagine mini mouse pissed off? You just can't take it seriously.

So the story is that we bought a leather fauteuil club from Mobeco on avenue d'Italie and they said that the day of the delivery the deliveryman would phone an hour ahead. Yesterday he phones at 3.45 pm and says he is under the house. I leave my atelier in Ivry in a big mess with wet brushes the computer open and run to the metro. Just as I am to exit at le Goblins the guy phones me again and says he is leaving. Not even ten minutes have passed. I say i am there in 5 minutes and he says he can't wait but will be back in an hour. I go home wait two hours phoning a couple of times and he says he will be right there. Finally he calls and says it will be another 3/4 of an hour. I was so furious so I said bring it tomorrow morning (today.) Then go to Mobeco and complain with the anger making my eyes pop out of my face. Then back to the studio on the bicycle and finish what i had to do in the studio managing to clean my brushes before they are completely dry and ruined.

So now I am still waiting this morning and no fauteuil. How frustrating. I feel like dumping hot oil on him when/if he arrives because the window of the apt. is just over the main door. Maybe i will strangle him too, I should at least step on his toes.

So Angie, what happened? did you the "leather fauteuil club?" What is that, by the way?

Yes it finally came. I had to wait until almost 12 noon and the guys looked so harassed that I just couldn't step on his toes. I'm posting again about the fauteuil.
