Someone called me on skype just after I turned up the heat and was getting ready to flip the sandwich over and violà I found a carbonized half sandwich with all the luscious melted cheese. I would never cook a grilled cheese sandwich for company unless they specifically asked, but I covet a secret desire for a good ole greasy grilled cheese sandwich. I even bought ketchup, how disgusting it was delicious but that sugary after taste makes me think that maybe next time I'll make something more healthy.
Who would think of making a grilled cheese sandwich with those wonderful baguettes over there on the corner and the petit fours screaming at you to grab them and shove them into your watering mouths? Me.
It has been weeks since I was online recreationally, thus no blogging. The last thing that I wanted to do was chat or blog, getting off the computer has been a pleasure.
After 9 months of painting like an animal and not even going to the Louvre, I still haven't, my computer work piled up to no end among other boring chores. Now I am beginning to see the light and even started to paint again. I can paint what my heart desires. But basically I am sort of pampering myself and even slept all day a few times, unheard of!!! I told myself that I wasn't going to put up a new blog entry until I found out that my paintings had arrived safely at Villa Rosa one of the most luxurious residental apartment complexes of Gables Residential. That is where all my paintings went and I only found out last friday that they arrived, had been inspected and approved of.
I am proning myself to get back to work because next spring is going to be wickedly busy and I might not have time to do anything.
September, the month of my last blog entry, was extremely busy and stressful. I was in Florence for three weeks trying to get my apartment ready to rent, hooking up utilities, getting my paintings framed and shipped, visiting with my dog. The worst of it was that I found Florence to be too hot. Who would have ever thought that I would prefer the cool Parisean weather to that of the blaring hot Tuscan sun.
I think that I'll go to Luxembourg to the Senate and see the Arimboldi exhibit. Tonight I am going to Patricia lapante Collins networking cocktail where my good friend and client Catherine Baker Stetson of Stetson Law is going to speak about American Indians. It should be fun.
Off to Arcimboldi.

Angie, I love the painting. It's so charming! I could sit for hours just watching the little toy boats there on the water in Jardin de Luxembourg. There is something so civilized and sweet about it.
Enjoy your down time. You deserve it...
