Dog Snappers

For my dear friends at Tabarrino www.jackrusselltabarrino.com

Dog Thieves at the Breeder Tabarrino - Jack Russell Terriers missing

At the breeder Tabarrino owned by Mr. and Mrs. Randall on the 23rd of December at approximately 11PM dog snappers arrived. According to the local athourities it is probable that they are smugglers from Hungary or Romania looking for females for reproduction.
The thieves put the Jacks in large black plastic trash bags that they sealed with tape.
They tried to take all of the shorthair JRT but in the attempt to steal them had problems because many of the dogs were able to free themselves from the trashbags and returned to the house in the morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Randall discovered that two females are missing; Patricia a six month female and Gherda pregnant that was to give birth to five puppies in a week. Lovely another female was found dead soffocated inside a trash bag.
After controlling the property many trash bags were found, gloves and tiretracks.
All of the Jack Russells from the breeder Tabarrino have deposited DNA samples at the ENCI. All have microchips. Gherda has a micochip and a tattoo from the breeder therfore the Tabarrino dogs are easily recognizable either by microchip or blood samples.

We ask everybody that in the future is looking for a Jack Russell to help us find our dogs and to help us discover who the thieves are and stop them. Surely other breeders are in danger.

The thieves returned the night of 29 December but were scared off by our guards. They were two on a motorcycle that arrived from the forest below the dog kennel.
