13 things about me

Inspired by Sandra. I am going to tempt to write 100 things about me without getting too personal.

1. I was born in Poughkeepsie NY - don't laugh.
2. I never imagined I would live in Paris or Italy.
3.Painting paintings is my profession, that means I pay taxes as an artist and everything I own I bought with my art.
4. I'm not a sweet eater but I just had a magnum ice cream bar.
5. I am not a competitive person.
6. Competitive women bore me to tears.
7. I don't find Paris to be that thrilling, it just seems like a big city.
8. Tuscany and Florence are my home.
9. Swimming in the Italian Mediterranean is a total joy.
10. I used to be a bartender, I loved it.
11. Campari bitter is one of my favorite drinks.
12. A good margherita cocktail with salt is also one of my favs.
13. This is harder than I thought so I will stop at 13 and I'm going to take a nap.

sandrac:

Great start, Angie! I actually felt tears well up at your statemnet that Tuscany and Florence are your home. I feel that I'm in exile and I'm not sure where home is anymore.....but Italy very much feels like it may be.

angie:

Thanks Sandra, I'm going to keep filling in until iget to 100.

Italy, sigh, I miss it so much. I can't even think about it or I come to cry. The next time I will be there is in June, The longest I have been away in 21 years - I can't wait.

angie, I went to high school in Goshen,NY and our 8th grade trip was to the Rocking Horse Dude Ranch in the town of your birth. Who knew.

Kim:

A good start. Hey - I remember the Rocking Horse Dude Ranch!

Oh my stars! I have a good friend living in Poughkeepsie. And it's funny, but whenever I see the word in print, I then read it again several times that week.
