This morning I went all the way north of Paris on the metro to pick up a baby buggy that I got off ebay new with a huge discount. The guy brought it to our place last night but I forgot I was supposed to meet him and left to go out for dinner leaving my cell phone at home. I never am without my cell. I actually have two cell phones, one Italain and one
French. When i pull them out of my bag people smirk. I doubt that they would smirk in Italy because everyone has cell phones and are talking on them all the time.
After the two hour stint on the metro with this huge *@&8ing box I came home made pasta with ricotta and fell asleep. No one on the metro or bus budged to let me sit down even seeing this huge belly. What pigs! I am too proud to ask someone to get up.
I've really wanted to post a blog about all the Febuary bloggers and have spent time catching up but now am going to the cinema to try to catch the Kite Runner.

Well, I'm proud to say, that the last few times I've been on the train, bus or subway, I've seen people (including my hubby)give up their seats for the elderly and pregnant.
Take care - would love to hear what you thought of the Kite Runner.

My gosh, people can be so selfish. I don't understand that kind of rude behaviour.
I too am interested to hear your thoughts on Kite Runner. I haven't seen it yet, but read the book a couple years ago and found it very moving.
