Seems like spring

We are having the best weather. It is supposed to be sunny until Saturday and even more so that will make over two weeks of blue sky in Paris. My fiancée said, "What's wrong with the weather?" I laughed. How can sunny be wrong especially in February in Paris.

This whole week I haven't bee able to catch up on everyone's blog on the Slowtalk blog for a month, too much to do.

Yesterday was my first class at the hospital for learning how to approach giving birth. I haven't yet blogged about being pregnant and soon becoming a mother so it may be a surprise to someone. The class was in the basement of the hospital that is just accross the street from the apartament, convenient. When i arrived there were several women waiting all with big tummies and two guys that were accompanying them. i went straight to the toilet and to my dismay there was dead on the floor this giant cockroach. So much for the thread on Slow Talk about the state fo the Italian hospitals Where I would have gon in Tuscany - Poggibonsi seems like a five star hotel compared to the place Cochin here in PAris that is supposed to be the number one in town.

A baby on the way - how exciting! Congratulations to you!

I feel for you.

I have found dead roaches in the bathrooms at work (but then again roaches are common in Hawaii). Yuck! There was a baby one in my microwave in my classroom today.

The librarian found a rat in the library bathroom one time at our school!!

I hope all goes well for you. How exciting to have a baby on the way!!
