weekend in Normandy

Saturday we rented a car and drove to Normandy after finishing the floating loft to store all of my canvases.

I am so exhausted that I'll post more tomorrow but we went to Fécamp and Yport and Etretat then to Lillebonne. It was nice to see the falaises in Etretat and to try and walk on that pebble beach. To call those stones pebbles is a misnomer, they're huge. I can't imagine anybody walking barefoot on them.

When I took my children to the beach at Camogli many years ago, they too were amazed at the pebbles and the different look of the beach. :)

But then they had the colored houses and the fishing boats and the men mending their nets to look at as well.
