working on the apartament

DSC07831.JPG
To me there is nothing more boring than sanding and painting and other things like. Perhaps it is because when I was in high school my parents bought this town house and we lived in dust for 7 years. My homework was to come home and sand smooth plaster walls. The results may be worth it but I would rather be doing something more fun like trying one of Jerrry's martini recipies see Jerry's thoughts musing and Rants I like that white chocolate one that he served for Valentines day dinner.

This weekend we finished working on the apartament that had not been painted in over ten years. There were huge cracks in the ceiling that are now smoothed out as you can see in this photo. We now have a ceiling fan that I brought from Italy and that sat in a box for several months but is now installed and works. We are ready for the sweltering Parisean weather.

I'm STILL repainting my kitchen floor - I started it in December. *sigh*
