couch to 5 K

Today I started the couch to 5 K excercise plan. Man am I out of shape! To think that last August I was riding my bike all over Paris up and down the hills. The running was hard for the bouncing of these ginormous mammary glands. If they were the only thing big it would be okay. The lack of serious aerobic excercise for the nine months of baby forming and all those crêpes added some cm to the waistline...

What is great about the "Couch to 5K" plan is all the walking at the beginning so I got to admire the modern sculptures in Luxembourg this sunday morning.

What is great about Paris is that no one could give a shit who they run into, one girl did smile at me, so if you are creeping along like a snail around the dirt path and they are running proud of their good shape they just ignore you and run by avoiding eye contact. Well if I looked like Pamela Anderson the guys might take notice. Not the case. I didn't silicon my lips.

What a cool name for an exercise plan!

Kim:

Excellent Angie - you go! I think Chiocciola did the same or similar plan last year. I'm working on one now - though I haven't run in a week (too much biking I guess). :)

Great job! I did the Couch to 5K this winter/spring and it worked for me, and I kind of hate running. I love the pace it moves at, anything faster would not have worked for me.

Chiocciola,
You are my inspiration.
I went last sunday. I think I need to work on my abs after being pregnant.
I think it will be couch, floor matt for abs then 5K.
The problem is that I want to sleep instead of running.
Definitly it will not be nine weeks by the time I reach the 5K
