Don't you just loathe being hostage of boring people?
So we go to the market and run into a couple that we see almost every Saturday at the market on boulevard Port Royal. They have a baby older than ours and they are happy to see us and give their congratulations. It is a pleasing 45 seconds.
We are sitting at a cafe when they find us and they instinctively sit down to join us which is okay. Somehow they are invited to come have lunch at our place.
It is an excrutiatingly boring three hours. For me it is impossible to feign delight in this kind of company especially when I have plans that are now shot.
Life is too short to throw away time with boring people shooting the shit.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGH.
Prefererei un Pisano sull'uscio.

THREE HOURS???? That's unbelieveably rude of those people -- especially if they have a child, they should understand how busy you must be with the new little one.
But boring people, by definition, never realize how boring they are!!
