Visit Venice connects you direct with the owners to rent two very attractive apartments in the calm Cannaregio area of Venice. We only own two properties, so all our attention is focused on these, and it shows - visitors are constantly remarking about the high quality of the fittings and furnishings, and our attention to detail that has made their stay special. CASA TRE ARCHI

Casa Tre Archi is a two-bedroomed self catering apartment at the top of a 17th-century merchant's building looking over the Cannaregio canal. It has been beautifully renovated, with new marble floors throughout – except for the living room, which has kept its original terrazzo floor of tiny nuggets of coloured marble. The living room looks out over the canal, the lagoon and the 'Tre Archi' bridge. Here the historical romance of Venice mingles with the interest of daily life. From this window you can see the Venetian tides rising and falling, and view the parade of working boats that ply this important 'Royal Canal': waterbuses, delivery barges and private motorboats.

Casa Battello

Casa Battello is situated in a narrow "sotoportego", a typical Venetian side-street, the house is very close to the local waterbus stops, the Grand Canal, and the Jewish Ghetto, a place of great historical significance for Venice. Built around 1820, the house is on two floors and has thick walls and shuttered windows. The sotoportego is exceptionally calm at night – the nearby Battello canal is a tranquil backwater meandering through Cannaregio, and you are likely to hear only the odd boat passing on the main canal.
