ACCOMMODATION is provided in a small studio apartment situated in a 17th century building, within easy walking distance of S.Croce and the Duomo. The ceiling is decorated with an early 19th century frescos. Private bathroom with shower and a small kitchenette. Free use of high speed Internet connection. COOKING: for those who wish to spend their time in Florence learning about local cuisine traditions and feel the magic atmosphere of the fresh food market. THE FAMILY: owners are on their 40’s and they have a 3 yrs old child. She’s from one of the most illustrious old Florentine families, and a descendant of Monna Lisa (Gherardini) known as ‘La Gioconda' painted by Leonardo da Vinci. She works in the tourism industry...He’s a Sardinian native and his Sicilian origins make him what we call a real “Islander”, he’s a business consultant and accountant.
