This bright and stylish two-bedroom apartment, in the heart of one of Paris’s most fascinating arrondissements, was meticulously refurbished by its Architect owner in 2004, and has already been featured in a leading interiors magazine. The stunning apartment has been completely remodelled to provide an affordable alternative to 4-star hotel accommodation for up to 4 people.

On the third floor (US fourth) of a listed 19th century building, it is entered through traditional Parisian entrance doors through a cobbled courtyard. A winding oak staircase, with a recently installed elevator, brings guests to a bright airy apartment with windows on both sides, ensuring good light and ventilation throughout the year.

Typical Parisian details - oak parquet floors, high decorative plaster ceilings, tall windows - are complemented by a fully equipped contemporary kitchen and a stylish modern shower-room. Furniture is a subtle blend of antique and contemporary, and bed linens and towels are all top quality pure cotton. A selection from the Architect owner’s personal art collection completes this airy and restful interior. It’s the ideal way to sample real Parisian life!

ACCOMMODATION

The bright and well-planned accommodation includes:

• a comfortable elegant living room, with flat screen dvd player, cd/tape/radio, and an ottoman which converts neatly to a single bed if required. Folding doors open to
• a spacious main bedroom, featuring a romantic 6ft wide carved French bed and a pretty chandelier
• a cosy second bedroom with an antique 4ft brass bed (works as a generous single or a snug double!)
• a mosaic tiled shower room with extra large shower and the best of contemporary fittings.
• a neat modern kitchen with top range appliances (dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washer/drier etc) and a sunny breakfast corner with extending table.

The apartment comes complete with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including wireless internet access, laptop, local cell phone (for those calls from home!) hairdryer, iron, cds, dvds, and a huge selection of guide books. LOCATION

The location couldn’t be better: on the corner of rue Pavee and the quieter end of rue des Rosiers, and two minutes walk from St. Paul Metro station. There’s a wealth of shopping, sightseeing and wonderful cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep. The Picasso Museum, the Carnavalet, the Seine and the Ile St. Louis, and the beautiful Place des Vosges are all within a five minute stroll through medieval streets. Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Pompidou Centre are a ten to fifteen minute walk away, and the adjacent Metro gives easy access to the rest of this fabulous city.

RATES

€275 per night (minimum 3 nights); 4 nights €1000; €1400 per week. 50% deposit on booking, payable via PayPal or by transfer to owner's Irish bank; balance due 3 weeks before arrival.
