Beavita could be your Italian home

AVAILABLE FROM 2010, MARCH, 1 -

Don't wait and write us :)

'Beavita' apartment is close to the historical centre of Padua. It is brightly coloured, fully furnished, with two bicycles and wireless internet service at your disposal. It is the ideal place to start discovering Padua, Venice, Verona, Vicenza, all the interesting sites of our Veneto region.

You will find… a good sofa to relax on, all the necessary information and, most of all,  true courtesy.

These are some additional information about our apartment.

► Apartment
The apartment is at the second floor of an old three-floor
building. There is no elevator, but just two flights of
stairs.
Beavita is made up of:
1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom
The double bedroom has a three door wardrobe, night tables
and a chest of drawers. In the bedroom, our guests will also
find an alarm clock, a small TV set (it gets only Italian
channels) with videotape recorder and a dvd player. The twin
bedroom has a one door wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a
desk as well.
1 bathroom recently renovated which has cabinet
shower, bidet, WC and sink
1 kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped to allow our guests to prepare
excellent meals with the fresh ingredients bought at the
supermarket nearby or at the vegetable market at Prato della
Valle.
The kitchen contains a gas stove with an electric oven, big
fridge, washing machine. Cutlery, crockery, pots and pans
are provided. Guests of Beavita will also find 'the basics
for cooking': salt, sugar, some spices, coffee, tea, and
olive oil and vinegar are at their disposal in the
cupboards.
1 living room
The living room has a sitting area where the guests can
relax while reading a book or drinking a glass of wine
on the sofa or on a comfortable armchair by the main
window.
The living room contains a table which can accommodate up to
5 people and a cupboard hosting also a small 'travelers'
library'. You will find books, guides and travel
literature together with our informational material and maps
on/of Padua and nearby resorts.

There is a narrow balcony (see the picture with the red
flowers ... not a terrazza then :)) and the most pleasant
thing people generally find is that the all house is
inundated of light!
Beavita has no telephone neither AC.

► The neighborhood
The neighborhood is mainly made up of two-floor houses with
private gardens, very close one each other. It is a quiet
area behind Prato della Valle, not far from the two
Hospitals (Ospedale civile/Policlinico universitario)
neither from the scientific faculties of the University of
Padua.
The building stands at the end of a closed-end road. There
is no traffic apart from people parking in front of their
houses.
To park, you could do it in front of the building or there
is a safe, free on-street parking about two blocks away.
The apartment is surrounded by many different types of shops
(2 supermarkets, food stores, newsagents, tobacconists, wine
shop, clothes shop, etc.) a variety of pizzerias/restaurants
and, last but not least, our favorite and one of the most
famous cafe in town, Pasticceria da Celso. Moreover, in the
area there are all necessary services (banks and bank
machine, pharmacy, post-office and the newspapers/magazine
library).
Whenever a guest arrives in town, we do our best to pick him
up at the train or bus station and carry her/him home. If
asked, we could also reserve a seat with the transportation
service Airservice going from/to Padua to the airport of
Venice-Marco Polo.

► Connections
To reach the center of the town you could go:
walking (20 minutes)
biking (10 minutes)
by bus
Bus 11 stops/starts exactly at 5 minutes walking from our
apartment and stops in the historical center. Bus 3 (the
stops are along Via D'Acquapendente), very close as well,
stops in front of the train station. Almost every 30 minutes
there is a train going to Venice (20 minutes reach), Verona,
Vicenza, Ferrara, etc.

In our opinion the best way to visit/live Padua is using a
bike. Our town has many bicycle paths and all-aged riders.
It is the quickest way to reach any point of the town and it
is free! In fact, we have two bikes in the car-box you could
ride during your stay in Padua.
So, keep in mind! You could get a bus+train and be in Venice
in 40 minutes. In alternative you could take an extra-urban
bus from Padua center and get to Venice (Piazzale Roma)
crossing the beautiful Brenta Canal (Riviera del Brenta)
while admiring the summer villas built for the Venetian
noblemen in 18th century.

The price includes:
▪ electricity
▪ gas
▪ heating
▪ hot/cold water
▪ towels, sheets and kitchen linen changed on a weekly basis
▪ use of 2 bikes
▪ wireless internet service (only WPA-PSK options of
protection)
