Germany/Austria/Bavarian Specialist

Leslie had the good fortune to reside in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany for 18 months with her family.  This wonderful adventure resulted in her in-depth travel knowledge and enthusiasm for traveling to Germany and Austria.  

This past year, Leslie was awarded the Bavarian Ambassador Certificate which is given to travel professionals for in-depth knowledge of this region in Germany.

Consulting Fees

The travel industry has changed. In recent years, airlines have reduced or altogether eliminated agent commissions on flight bookings, causing travel agencies to introduce fees for professional services. Consumers are adjusting to this change and understand that, more than ever, the professional services of a travel agent are excellent value. Not only can a travel consultant's expertise find you good value for your trip, a travel consultant can also be a valuable back-up in case something goes wrong. 

As an industry professional Leslie does charge a reasonable fee for the time she spends personalizing your trip or booking flights & cruises. This fee can range from a $25.00 booking/handling fee for airline/cruise bookings to a minimum of $100.00 flat fee for a personalized travel itinerary. This charge may vary according to complexity of travel and the research time involved.  Please call Leslie to discuss details and rates.

About Leslie

A native New Yorker and former long-time resident of Burlington, Vermont; Leslie has nurtured a passion for all things travel since leaving New York in 1988 to reside in Honolulu, Hawaii for nearly four years. Subsequently residing in Savannah, Georigia; Monterey, California; Bavaria, Germany; and Atlanta, Georgia over the past decade, Leslie has taken advantage of these locales to explore the surrounding regions and neighboring countries.

Leslie enjoys traveling as much as possible with her daughter and husband.  In June 2005 she traveled to Bavaria, Germany and Tuscany and Umbria, Italy, three of her favorite places to explore. This year she plans on taking advantage of the wonderful sights around the Continental U.S. and plans travel to the Grand Canyon, Western Colorado, Las Vegas, Savannah, Hilton Head, Vermont & Orlando.
