Apartment Fiori is in one of the most sought after and desirable locations for visitors to Rome.  The apartment, which sleeps 2 to 6 people, is in the historic center of the city near two well-known squares - - Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori.  Piazza Navona, with its Bernini fountain and abundant street life, is a prime destination for people-watching in the city.  Campo dei Fiori is the home of a lively, daily market that attracts Romans and visitors alike.  Apartment Fiori is right between these two squares, within walking distance of the Vatican, virtually all the major tourist attractions, and excellent restaurants. 

The apartment is on the fourth floor of a restored 15^th century building on a typical Roman street, and is reached by an elevator.  The restoration of Apartment Fiori by its American owner was completed in the spring of 2005, and the results combine features of the original building with modern conveniences.  The original, hand-planed, wood beam ceilings are visible in the living room and master bedroom, and there are polished hardwood floors throughout.  The apartment is fully air-conditioned, and has new double pane glass windows to help with climate control.   The apartment faces away from the street, which cuts down street noise, and there are three different exposures open to an array of city views.  A great deal of light streams in because the windows are almost floor to ceiling. 

The furnishings are comfortable, with both a modern and traditional feel.  Guests enter directly into the spacious living room. The room is furnished with a couch, which can serve as a queen-sized sofa bed, additional seating, a desk in one corner, and a TV with satellite reception.. The living room opens onto the fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher and stainless steel sinks.  All of the appliances are modern.  There is a dining table that seats six in the middle of the kitchen. 

The bedrooms and bathroom are down a hallway on the other side of the living room.  The master bedroom is in the rear, with a queen size bed and ample closet space.  A second small bedroom off the hallway is furnished with a high riser bed.  If there are two people needing separate beds, a second bed can be prepared so that the room has twin beds.  The bathroom, also off the central hallway, is equipped with a modern shower.

Apartment Fiori is ideal for a couple or a family who wish to have comfortable and centrally located accommodations in the Eternal City!
