No matter what time of year you are visiting us there will always be an enticing food or wine event going on. As a guest at the Flavor of Italy Country Inn we invite you to share in this fun with us.

Spring….searching for wild asparagus and edible wild mushrooms, planting the garden.

Summer….vegetables to be picked, canned and sun-dried. Walnut picking to make nocino liqueur. Figs and plums in abundance to make into jam.

 Fall….grape picking & wine making; gathering and drying wild fennel for sausages, risottos and roasts; gathering walnuts; trees laden with luscious persimmons. Lemons and oranges ready to be picked and made into lemon & orange liqueurs.

Winter….olive picking & olive oil pressing, gathering chestnuts & walnuts, hunting for wild boar.

Outdoor Activities…

Swimming - 6 X 12  meter pool overlooking the mountains

Golf – panoramic 18 hole golf course just 5 minutes away.

Horseback riding

Walking & hiking on the 2 ½ hectare Flavor of Italy Country Inn property and neighboring woods.
