To find out what people are saying about our top notch
service, have a look at some of our client testimonials located on our web
site. These are written by real people just like you who wanted to spread the
word about our guides and Italy consultants. There is a reason why all roads lead to Rome, and we want to
let you in on the secret!
Our Vatican
City Tour is our most popular excursion, covering the Vatican Museums,
Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica in a half day tour. Highlights of this
tour include the Rooms of Raphael, the Sistine Chapel, and Ancient Roman and
Greek pieces in the Belvedere Courtyard. Our guides provide a full background
on the Sistine Chapel from before it was commissioned to the finishing touches
while distinguishing between truth and popular legends promulgated by Hollywood
and popular books.
Each Sunday, When In Rome is now operating a semi-private
day tour to Pompeii and Sorrento, an intimate journey back in time to explore
this ancient city buried by ash during one of nature's most devastating
volcanic eruptions, followed by a leisurely stop for lunch and free time in
Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. For full details about this tour or

Last year, we proudly announced the opening of the When In Rome Accommodation, a brand
new B&B in Rome just steps from Rome’s major railway, bus, and metro hub
Termini Station and ten minutes from the sites of the historic center. Each room is equipped with a complimentary mobile phone
(clients pay only for the call time consumed) air conditioning, satellite TV,
linens, soaps, hair dryers, and wireless internet access.
