  Upon entering this cosy home, a warm and friendly greeting awaits you and your magical Florence experience is on it's way to being fulfilled.

Il Bargello Bed & Breakfast is named after the National Museum "Il Bargello" which is located right beside the B&B. Situated in a historical  15^th century building, once belonging to the aristocratic "Carlini" family, is on its 3^rd floor with no elevator service.   This newly renovated and tastefully decorated B&B can transport you back in time and still make you feel right at home.

Accomodations

This cosy home, romantically decorated, offers the choice of single or double rooms with  queen size bed or two twin beds, depending on guest's requirements.

To ensure a pleasurable stay, the B&B has a completely non-smoking policy.

All the rooms have their own  private bathroom with shower,hair dryer, telephone, FREE WI-FI, Internet point and air conditioning. The original wooden ceilings add a charming historical atmosphere to the tastefully decorated rooms.  Safety Deposit box and iron are  available upon request.

Also accessible to their guests is a roof-top terrace with a spectacular view of downtown Florence.

How to Reach Us

This lovely family owned and lived in B&B is located on Via Pandolfini No.33 corner Via Proconsolo. Right down the street from the famous "Duomo" and "Piazza della Signoria"

By Air: Florence's Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" is on the outskirts of town and approximately 8km from the B&B. A taxi can easily be taken and would take about 10 to 15 minutes. There is also the Sita Shuttle service whcih brings you to Florence's Central train station, Santa Maria Novella. Pisa's Airport "Galileo Galilei" is about 108 km from Florence.

By Train: Il Bargello Bed & Breakfast is a 12/15 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Also accessible electric bus C1 or C2 or a 7 to 9 Euro taxi ride away. If needed, just contact us for walking directions!

By Car: From Highway A1 take exit Firenze Nord, follow street indicating "Viali di Circonvallazione" and "Centro"  Always better to contact us directly for specific driving instructions if needed.

Facilities

A delicious continental breakfast is served every morning in Il Bargello's warmly decorated dining hall.

Weather permitting, guests can also enjoy a good cup of caffelatte on their roof-top terrace all the while, absorbing the spetacular view of Florence.

Relax and put your feet up in our living area where if needed, our lap-top is always available to   e-mail or surf the web at no extra cost!

Always available is their tourist information center with various maps, brochures, books and other helpful tourist aids. The owners, Gabriella and Massimo, will be delighted in helping their guests with museum bookings, walking tours of Florence, restaurant suggestions and any other type of help regarding making your stay with them, a fully enjoyable experience.
