This and much more in and around your home near Sutri, the "Ancient City".

The Sutri-Home project is managed by Massimo and Biancamaria, two Italian artists known by the Slow Travel community for their wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome.

This lovely little cottage is actually our home, but we look forward to sharing it with like-minded sensitive and talented spirits. Encouraged by our experience with Rome is Home, we realized how much we enjoy inviting people into our lives and decided that our own home in Sutri could become the next place in which to cherish the presence of new guests.

While renovating our house, we arranged a small lodging with a large country-style kitchen/living room with an old charming fireplace, a double-bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a small studio/extra room. There is wi-fi internet connection, satellite TV and we are always there to help you planning and visiting the many unique features of this ancient region, whose Etruscan heritage and civilisation preceded Ancient Rome.

We would prefer long-term rentals, but you are also very welcome to enjoy our home for just a few days.

Definitely a new, unique place for the enjoyment of all Slow Travellers and, hopefully, a starting point for the many who want to learn more about this wonderful part of Etruscan land, its history and its art. What do you think?

At present, our web site is still under construction. Yes, that's the most dreadful expression one can meet on the Internet, we know, but we are doing our best to complete the presentation of this new home as soon as possible, believe us. We hate empty websites at least as much as you do!

Dorothyk from Vermont was our very first guest and has written a wonderful post about it on the SlowTravel's Italy Forum and also an enthusiastic review filled with all kinds of interesting details about the region.

Nick and Sheryl from Sidney stayed with us for five days and definitely liked to drive around to the many towns nearby, they even went to Orvieto on an easy day trip!

Eventually, please, read some of the other guests' reviews about Rome-is-Home. They will talk about their experience in Rome, of course, but they will all say something about our hospitality and how we care for our guests. This being a brand new place, we can only have ourselves as reference... :-)
