9 luxury apartments, all rated 5 star by the German Tourism Association, sleeping 2-6 people, renovated to international standards. The apartments are in 3 neighbouring houses in a quiet area on the edge of the village but within walking distance of all restaurants, shops, trains and buses and tourist attractions. All apartments have sitting rooms with comfortable sofas and DVD player, LCD TVs. Kitchen/dining room with high quality porcelain and glass, full cooker with hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster. 2 apartments have all ensuite bathrooms. All apartments have balconies or direct access to an outside seating area. A generous welcome pack is provided including first breakfast. The houses also offer DVDs, CDs and books to borrow, table tennis (indoor and outdoor), table football, pool table, gym, sauna, laundry room, mountain bikes for hire, stocks of food and drink to buy, maps of the area, large file of information in English on things to do and see - the British owners on site provide a full concierge service. Our properties are strictly non-smoking and no animals are allowed.

The village of Bayerisch Eisenstein is directly on the border with Czech Republic, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Both are within walking distance of the house. The village has the only railway station in Europe divided between 2 countries, local railway museum, children's playground, tennis courts, mini golf. There is skiing and snowboarding on the Arber mountain and cross country skiing in the winter.

Close to the village are the Arber mountain, with cable car operating 10 months of the year, lakes, animal parks, castles, glassworks and museums etc. Trips can be made to Prague, Munich, Passau and UNESCO World Heritage Sites Regensburg and Cesky Krumlow.
