Very few accommodations in South Kihei are beachfront, the vast majority are across the street, but at this owners unit, Hale Pau Hana 606, the beach is at your feet. Hale Pau Hana is a small complex that sits atop of a jewel of a beach, with incredible views, sunsets, and a wide selection of shops and restaurants conveniently nearby.
Hale Pau Hana 606 is a 1-bedroom, 2-bath condominium on the 6th floor that sleeps 4. From its lanai you have a front-row seat for gazing out at the pool, the white sandy beach of Kamaole II, the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, and the islands of Kahoolawe, Molokini, and Lanai. Hale Pau Hana is small and friendly resort, no tour buses or vast crowds.
The condo is light, bright and nicely furnished, with tiled floors. It’s stocked with lots of vacation reading and fun games for the family. It is also the largest 1-bedroom condo we offer, with two full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed, its own TV, and en suite bath, and the living area has a queen sofa bed. Of course, we provide our guests with free high-speed Internet.
Kamaole II is a favorite Maui swimming beach. The morning ocean is very calm here for swimming and the waves are generally tame. That wonderful white sand slipping through your toes is directly in front of the building, yet the oceanfront pool and grassy grounds of the complex are set a few feet above the beach allowing a private space for Hale Pau Hana guests only. Since Kamaole II has no public parking lot, the only parking is on the street, consequently the beach has limited visitors and more privacy for you. You can snorkel right off the Hana Pau Hana point and maybe catch a glimpse of the sea turtles that live there. Great beach for a morning walk, an all day snooze, or a sunset stroll.
This wonderful condo and complex is ideal for couples and families. There’s a morning coffee klatch every day if you would like to stop by and visit with your fellow vacationers and maybe you will find out who sounds the conch shell at sunset. It’s close to both the shops, restaurants and the conveniences of South Kihei and well as the upscale shopping, restaurants and fancy resorts in Wailea that are a 5 minute drive. The pool, lawn chairs on the grass, white sandy beach, and forever views are just outside your lanai.
