Sandybrook Country Park, near Ashbourne

Situated just outside the picturesque town of Ashbourne, this park is set in the former grounds of Sandybrook Hall, an elegant 19th centure manor house.

With superb views across the surrounding countryside, Sandybrook is an ideal location for exploring the southern Peak District.  Complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa* is included in your holiday (*over 16s only).  Private outdoor hot tubs are available on some lodges. The historic Coach House Bar and Restaurant serves superb home cooked meals and takeaways.  There is an outdoor and indoor play area for children and local attractions include the picturesque market town of Ashbourne, attractive villages of Hartington and Tissington, the walks and bridleways of the Peak District, as well as family outings such as Alton Towers and the Staffordshire Potteries.

Darwin Forest Country Park, near Matlock

Darwin Forest is set in 44 acres of woodland, with an impressive range of activities for you and your family to enjoy.  There is an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium, with spa, sauna, steam room*, and beauty therapy treatments*, play areas for children, mini golf, woodland walks, orienteering course and cycle hire (* additional charges apply).  The Forester's Inn serves home cooked food and The Woodlands Store stocks a range of local produce for you to try.  Local attractions include historic Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, the market town of Bakewell, and many picturesque walks in the Peak District.

Your Pinelodge

Each detached lodge has its own verandah with furniture for dining alfresco, some have an outdoor hot tub. The generous living space with modern facilities is furnished to high standards and is fully equipped with crockery, linen and towels.  Lodges sleep from 2 to 8 and are graded 4 star (self-catering) by the English Tourism Council.

Both parks are open year round including Christmas and New Year and lodges may be booked for short breaks as well as weeks.
