My name is Christophe Burtaire- I am French and Parisian born.  I speak fluent English.  I have been working as a self-employed,qualified National Tourist Guide for 5 years and I live dowtown. I can guide you within the most famous museums/monuments throughout Paris such as  the Louvre,Orsay ( Impressionnist painters 'museum ),Notre Dame cathedral,the Sainte Chapelle ( celebrated for its stained glass windows ); or i can organize walking tours in a particular district such as Montmartre,Saint-Germain or Le Marais.

Since I am fully registered to the Ministry of Transportation with my 6-passenger minivan I can therefore organize private and custom-made tours for individuals and small groups;(up to 8 people ) 

According to your schedule and tastes we can combine together in advance tours which will include sightseeing and guided visits inside 1 or 2 museums !

I can pick you up at the airport, if you have a 5-Hr stopover in Paris airport , and bring you back to the airport at the end of the tour ! everything can be conceivable,that is the great advantage of a private and custom-made tour by car driven by a qualified tour guide !

My City- Paris offers a very wide range of choices ,from a simple walking tour ( 3 hours minimum ) to a full day tour which include sightseeing and guided visits;for instance the sightseeing tour ( 4 Hours ) allows you to see the main sights :

Arch of Triumph,the Champs-Elysées,the Concord square,the Invalids ,the Eiffel Tower,the Operahouse,Notre Dame cathedral,the Pantheon,the Luxembourg palace,the Trocadero palace,the Military academy,the Bastille square,le Marais district and the basilica of the Sacred Heart at Montmartre !

The Paris region is rich as well with castles: Versailles, Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, and cathedrals: St Denis and Chartres (transport by car with guided visits).  Finally, I organize day trips to Normandy ( Landing Beaches ), the Champagne Region, and the Loire Valley including guided visits inside the castles such as  Chambord,Blois,Chenonceau.

About Me- Tourist guides in France must be qualified for guiding inside museums and monuments.  This is why in 2000 I decided, after 10 years as a Driver-guide, to go back to school and pass the examination in order to be able to guide my clients inside the monuments/museums I used to describe from outside before ;this qualification ,set by the Ministry of Higher Education allows me to offer a comprehensive service:

Special Interest Tours- As a National guide and former Tour Leader (in South-East Asia) I am interested in anything connected with history of Arts.  I also like History (specially French and the History of Civilizations).  I do like architecture, and I must confess I am very keen of Italian art (fortunately we have plenty here in France, thanks to the French Renaissance and the Louvre museum).  I like as well the cities of London and Rome.
