Hidden Italy is an independant business based in Germany near Bonn. In 1995 we started our business with one villa in the Chianti region. Since then the number of properties we have been offering has increased considerably. We prefer properties with historic ambience, charm and character - houses with the very special atmosphere, imbedded in century old estates and deeply rooted in history.
On a personal note, you might like to know that our managing director Bettina Röhrig did a degree in Art History at the University of Bonn in Germany.

Several of our staff spend part of the year in the Chianti region of Italy, between Florence and Siena. We can usually be contacted there throughout the main season (from May to September). This has two benefits. On the one hand, we want to be within easy reach, should you need us during your stay abroad; on the other hand, this gives us the best contacts to the Italian home owners.

It describes the 70 museums of Florence with more than 600 pictures, detailled descriptions, time tables, etc.
It is a service for our customers and a useful guide for people, who want to visit Florence or just to know more about art and culture.
