Self-catering cottage in the grounds of a private château bed and breakfast, located half way between Chartres and Rambouillet on the southwest side of Paris. The cottage was lovingly renovated in the winter of 2006/2007.

Rooms

There are two bedroom suites upstairs. One has twin beds and a single bed. The other has a queen bed and single bed.

The living room downstairs can be configured as a bedroom with twin beds. Both suites and the downstairs room have private bathrooms with showers. 

Amenities

The cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, washer and dryer, central heating and Wi-Fi free high-speed internet. We provide all linens (towels and sheets). The kitchen comes with basic breakfast provisions (coffee, tea, milk, sugar & preserves) to get you started.  Weekly housekeeping is included in the rental price.

The cottage has private, off-street parking and a private garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Cottage guests have access to château grounds (over 20 acres).

Location 

The cottage is ideally situated for day trips to Versailles and Paris. You can catch the train at our local station (Epernon), which is 10 minutes away by car, or drive (we can give you directions). However, there is no public transportation between our village and Epernon. You, therefore, need to have a car if you plan on staying with us. We are also perfectly situated for exploring the many sights outside of Paris, including Givery, Vaux le Vicomte, Fontainbleau and the eastern end of the Loire Valley.

Pricing & Availability 

Available year-round for groups of 4 to 8 for 3 days minimum stay. The cost for a group of 4 four 7 nights is €800. Consult our website for all rates.
