Agriturismo La Rocca Orvieto is situated in Umbria, the green heart of Italy just 5 km far from Orvieto, is managed directly by the owners who will offer you comfort and a high quality service in a peaceful, charming place among the quiet hills.

 

The farm house offers 10 guest rooms and 9 self catering apartments: carefully furnished with all details and comforts. Private bathroom with shower or bath-tub, hairdryer, heating and air-conditioning system, Satellite TV, direct dial line, WiFi internet connection, fly screens and safe.

 

Every room or apartment has its external area, a porch or a terrace, where you can enjoy the fresh, clean air and the wonderful view while relaxing in privacy.

 

The surrounding countryside is characterized by old oaks, vineyards, olive trees, orchards and poultry breedings. In the main house you'll find the reception, nine rooms, a panoramic gym, and a wellness centre. Restaurant and swimming pool are in the adjoining annex, where you’ll also find a room which has been especially equipped for disabled persons.

 

The farmhouse La Rocca Orvieto is an ideal starting point for daily trips to the best known tourist sites in the middle of Italy. Orvieto is the closest town (10 minutes driving), but less than 1 hour driving you’ll reach: Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Civita di Bagnoregio, Amelia, Terni, Spoleto, Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Arezzo.  In 1,5 hours driving you'll reach Florence and Rome.
Other interesting towns in the Maremma area are less than one hour driving: (Pitigliano, Manciano)

 

Several watering places are located in the neighbourhood: Chianciano, S. Casciano dei Bagni, Saturnia, Viterbo and Bagni S. Filippo. The Marmore waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall), the Trasimeno lake and the Bolsena lake, the ideal place for everyone who loves sailing boats, windsurf, and canoe.
