ILM operates since 1981 and offers courses organized in weekly modules, to quickly acquire the knowledge of the Italian language together with a real view of the Italian lifestyle. Schools are situated in the beautiful region of Tuscany, exactly in Pisa e Viareggio. Both schools are in the town centre, close to train and bus stations so to advantage students that decide to attend courses. The school provides many different courses, where students learn Italian doing other things or, if you like, where entertainment and fun are just an excuse to learn the language. The lessons can be in a group, from 20 to 30 hours per week, or individual lessons form 2 to 8 hours per day.

Why choose ILM?

There are several reasons that justify the choice:

Viareggio

Viareggio is considered one of the most prestigious and attractive sea-side resorts in Italy. From an artistic point of view is characterized by the Liberty architecture, but it's well known above all for its long, white and sandy beach that extends uninterruptedly for miles and falls gently into the sea The Apuan Alps, mountains famous for their marble and beautiful scenery, overlook this town in Versilia. Viareggio offers a host of different kinds of entertainment: discotheques and bars along the avenues by the sea boutiques, shops, cafés, cinemas, art-galleries contribute to an intense and original life.

It is easily reached by car on the motorway or by train from anywhere in Italy or Europe.

Pisa

Pisa is a university town of great historical and cultural interest. It's best known for the world famous Leaning Tower, but the Tower is not the only thing to see, because this beautiful city is full of architectural and artistic marvels. Field of Miracles, the splendid Cathedral, the Baptistry and Campo Santo, a huge cemetery building with lots of interesting art are some of the most important monuments. Pisa is distinguished by the youth of the population, its proximity to the sea, which can be reached by bus or bicycle, and excellent links with the whole of Italy and the world, given that the largest airport in Tuscany and a rail link of primary importance is there. Not only arts and sea but also nature as the reserve of Migliarino-Massaciuccoli-San Rossore, one of the largest and most interesting national parks in Italy.

The school organises excursions, guided tours and various activities which give students the oppotunity to practice their language skills out of the classroom and to better know Italian culture.

All the activities are communicated directly at school during the each course period.
